Appointment Policy

Appointments may be made in person or by calling 408-926-3000. We ask that you arrive 10-15 minutes early to prepare for your treatment. This will also allow you adequate time to relax and prep before your treatment. Walk-ins can usually be accommodated.

We take time to prepare for your arrival and treatment needs, so please respect the appointment policies below.

  • Late Arrivals: If you arrive late, we may shorten your service time to avoid delays for other clients. In some cases, your appointment may need to be rescheduled and treated as a late cancellation

  • Cancellations made 24 hours in advance will not incur any charge. Please call 408-926-3000.

  • Same-day cancellations or No-shows are subject to a 25% charge of the booked service.

Service Refund Policy

Tranquility has a no-refund policy under the following conditions:

  • If the service was performed by Tranquility in a competent manner, the results are in line with the agreed upon style or treatment, and the customer agrees at the time that the results are acceptable and does not request any changes, Tranquility is not obligated to later alter the results or return any payments. However, since Tranquility’s goal is to provide 100% satisfaction to every customer, please notify us within three days if you are not satisfied with your service – we will assess the concern and may offer a complimentary adjustment or correction at our discretion.

  • If the service was performed by Tranquility and the results are significantly different from what was agreed upon and the customer communicates his/her dissatisfaction, Tranquility will fix the problem for free or provide a refund if fixing it is not practical. This will occur whether the customer objects to the results at the time of the service or if the customer decides within three days that the results are unsatisfactory. If expressing dissatisfaction after leaving the shop, the customer must adequately describe the problem (photos preferred) and show what was expected.

  • In any of the above situations, if the customer has altered their initial results so that it is not possible to assess the problem when the customer returns to Tranquility, Tranquility is no longer obligated to fix the problem or return any payments.

Product Purchase Policy

We accept any unopened, unused hair and skin products within 14 days of purchase for a full refund in the original form of payment. A store receipt must be presented for a refund.

We realize that not every product meets a customer’s expectations after trying it. Open products can be exchanged for salon credit within 30 days and are subject to a 20% restocking fee. A store receipt must be presented for the credit.

A Tranquility gift card will be issued for the store credit, and the value will reflect the amount paid at time of purchase. Tranquility gift cards are also non-refundable.

Unless defective, all brushes, combs, travel sizes, and accessories are FINAL SALE and are non-refundable.
